Educational Visit to Balaju Industrial Zone

The Mother Teresa Social Service Club organised an educational visit to the Balaju Industrial Zone on 20th May, 2026 for its executive and general members. The visit was conducted under the guidance of Club In-charge Ms. Sushma Lamsal and Middle School Teacher Mr. Sheetal Upadhyaya.
The main objective of the visit was to provide students with practical knowledge about the functioning of machines and industrial operations. During the visit, students observed and learned about the complete process of production — from the collection of raw materials to processing and the final manufacturing of products. The programme aimed to bridge classroom learning with real-life industrial practices and enhance students’ understanding of modern industries.
As part of the visit, the students explored several industries and enterprises including Himali Bakery, Baluna Enterprises, Aadhunik Dairy, Himalayan Plastics Pvt. Ltd., HP Footwear, and Tanya Pashmina and Silk. The students showed keen interest while observing the manufacturing procedures and interacting with industry personnel.
