Donation Drive at The Orphan Home, Nakkhu, Lalitpur

Students associated with the Vasudha Eco Club voluntarily participated in a donation programme at The Orphan Home, Nakkhu, Lalitpur, on December 26.
A total of 20 students from Grades V to XI took part in the initiative, accompanied by their teachers Ms. Kusum Lama (Vasudha Eco Club In-Charge), Ms. Anu Bajracharya, and Ms. Pragati Khadka from the HPE Department. The students brought warm blankets and contributed daily essentials such as soap, shampoo, winter cream, hair oil, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. They also provided a day’s supply of nutritious vegetarian food for the children.
Ms. Lama stated that the objective of the initiative was to foster compassion, empathy, and social responsibility among students. In addition, the Vasudha Eco Club, along with other interested students and teachers, raised and donated NPR 30,000 to the orphanage as part of this campaign.
