The Devkota Nepali Club organized class-wise activities to mark the dual occasions of National Children's Day and Kushe Aunshi, also known as 'Bubako Mukh Herne Din'. The celebrations took place at DAV, with National Children's Day observed on September 10, followed by Kushe Aunshi on September 11.
Students across multiple grade levels actively participated in literary and language-focused events tailored to their age groups. According to Club In-charge Ms. Sita Sharma, students from Grades VII and X engaged in a poem writing competition focused on the topic of Child Rights, while students in Grades IX and X participated in a biography writing competition. Additionally, students from Grades V and VI tested their linguistic skills in a word puzzle solving competition.
Club In-charge Ms. Sita Niroula highlighted that these initiatives were designed to encourage students' passion for language and literature while developing their vocabulary, writing abilities, creativity, and healthy competitive spirit. Nepali language teachers served as judges for all events, and the winners of each competition will be honored with merit certificates in due course.
