DAV School Wins Inter-School Friendly Football Tournament, 2026

DAV Sushil Kedia Vishwa Bharati School emerged as the champion of the Inter-School PASCH/BKD Cup Friendly Football Tournament 2026, held at the DAV College Futsal Ground, Bhanimandal, Lalitpur, on July 2.
Organised by the Goethe Institut, Goethe-Zentrum and PASCH/BKD Nepal in collaboration with DAV School, the tournament brought together German language learning schools from across the Kathmandu Valley to celebrate friendship, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Adding to the excitement, DAV Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia took time out of his busy schedule to visit the venue, interacted with organizers, and heartily encouraged all the players and coaches to play with true sportsmanship.
Five schools competed in a round-robin format, with DAV School finishing at the top of the table. The winning DAV team comprised Thomas Khadka, Rishant Karki, Justin Regmi, Bikash Puri, Himank Chaudhary, Prajwal Shrestha, Vedanth Thapa, Ronish Chitrakar, Sushant Pandey and Kartiken Khattri. The team was coached by Ms. Chandra Bhandari and managed by Mr. Yaman Maharjan.
