Dashain Cup, 2025 in Taekwondo, Basketball, Table Tennis and Yoga Concludes

The Intra-Academy Sports Competition, Dashain Cup 2025, featuring Taekwondo, Basketball, Table Tennis, and Yoga, concluded yesterday, 22nd November 2025. The events in these disciplines culminated in a vibrant award ceremony, with competitions held across the Junior, Sub-Junior, and Senior categories.
The Grade VII Football Tournament also reached its conclusion on the same day. Meanwhile, cricket matches in the Junior and Sub-Junior categories were finalised, and the badminton events of the Dashain Cup are scheduled to conclude tomorrow.
In addition, the Sports Academy organised an Inter-School Friendly Yoga Competition on 22nd November, welcoming four schools: Wilson Academy, Occidental Public School, Global Public School, and DAV. A total of 18 students from the invited schools, along with participants from the DAV Yoga Academy, competed across the Junior, Sub-Junior, and Senior categories, with separate events for boys and girls.
All winners of the Dashain Cup 2025 and the Inter-School Friendly Yoga Competition were felicitated with medals and certificates by the Sports Teachers, in the presence of the Head of Sports and Physical Education Mr. Purnendu Ghosh and teacher representatives from the participating schools.
