Competition on Plastic Planet: A Collage of Concern

Newton Science Club organised a competition titled Plastic Planet: A Collage of Concern for the students of Grade IV in their respective classrooms on January 22.
The objective of the programme was to create awareness about plastic pollution, highlight the importance of the 3Rs—Reduce, Reuse and Recycle—and to promote creativity and teamwork among students.
Through this competition, students also learnt about the need to reduce the use of plastic and understood its harmful effects on the Earth, animals and human beings, as stated by the Club In-charge, Ms. Nikita Shrestha.
The winners from each section will be honoured with Certificates of Achievement in due course.
