Celebration of Family Jamboree – Grade VI

DAV School proudly celebrated the Family Jamboree of Grade VI for the 2024–25 academic session on December 20.
The event was graced by the Patron of DAV School, Shree Anil Kedia, the First Lady, Shreemati Sunita Kedia, the Guest of Honour- Dr. Biplov Adhikari, a renowned dental health surgeon alongside Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, special guests- Mr. and Mrs. Sanjay Agrawal, Mr. and Mrs. Ajaya Ghiraiya, Ms. Yulia Koirala-Founder of Sushila Arts Academy, Vice-Principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal, CAO, SSO, Wing Co-ordinators, HR Manager, and HODs.
Middle School Co-ordinator, Mr. Krishna Joshi, extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests and the parents community on behalf of the DAV School family.
The students showcased their extraordinary talents through an array of vibrant performances, including dances, music, enactments, and other performing arts. Highlights of the cultural programme featured a Nepali song, Wave of the World Dance, Nepali Dance, Classical Dance, Thematic Dance, Hindi Classical Dance, International Dance, and Bollywood Dance.
The enthusiastic support from parents and guardians, who cheered and motivated their children during the performances, added to the celebratory atmosphere. A fun-filled game competition was also organised for some interested parents, with prizes awarded to the best performers by the First Lady and the Principal.
Some parents were invited as judges to evaluate the performances. They submitted their assessments, and the winning group will be honoured in the assembly soon.
The Guest of Honour, Dr. Biplov Adhikari, expressed his delight at being part of such a prestigious event. He praised the programme as one of the finest parent-focused events he had attended and shared valuable insights from his professional experiences in dental health. He also inspired the audience with a moral story encouraging children to always speak the truth to their parents and teachers.
The Family Jamboree concluded successfully, leaving everyone with joyous smiles. The event was anchored by Ms. Diksha Koirala and Mr. Shyam Lal Das, while Mr. Aakash Bishwokarma moderated the Parents’ Game Competition and Ms. Saguna Kasaju Shrestha offered a vote of thanks.
