Assembly Honours Achievers of the Thunder Bolts Cup (Football)

The morning assembly on 25th January, 2026 honoured the students who performed well in the Thunder Bolts Cup Football Tournament, held at GEMS from 18th to 24th December 2025.
On behalf of the School Management, Vice-principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal congratulated the players and praised their efforts. He wished them continued success in the future. DAV secured second position in the tournament.
In the first match, DAV defeated Apex School by 6–0. In the second match, DAV beat Pathshala School by 3–0. In the play-off match, DAV won against VS Niketan School by 2–0, which qualified the team for the final.
In the final match, both DAV and GEMS scored one goal each. However, DAV unfortunately lost in the penalty shoot-out.
