Workshop and Training from DAV to Rising Academy New Plaza, Kathmandu

Kedia Vishwa Bharati, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur conducted 1-day workshop and
training to Rising Academy, New Plaza, Kathmandu in the School premises on 29th
April, 2022.
The workshop and training was a part of School Support Project (SSP).
Addressing the trainees, DAV Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia highlighted the long relationship existing between DAV and Rising Academy. He extended heartiest congratulations and best wishes to the teachers and staff of Rising Academy. In a special focus, he motivated the trainee and said, the successes of an academic institution rely on the dedication, hard work and sincerity of teachers and management.
The project will last long for three years and within this period, DAV School will provide workshop and trainings in different interval of time. Chairperson added, 'Our School Management and Teachers will provide training for the first two years and the third year will the year of experimentation for Rising Academy'. Then, the Rising Nepal Academy will independently carry their work.
The key trainer of the programme, Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, the Principal presented on the mission, vision, goals and classrooms themes including various dimensions of holistic development.
The Principal also elucidated on thinking, learning and understanding skills as per the guidelines of bloom taxonomy. She also briefed few innovative teaching and learning methods recommended by recent researches and studies.
Likewise, CAO, Ms. Vijaya Tater briefed about examination. She also talked about some behavioral aspects of examinations. Similarly, SSO Mr. Prashant Samal was the mentor of the Training and Workshop.
Senior School Co-ordinator Mr.Tank Meghji Devji made presentation on discipline, communication, morning assembly and classrooms inspection. Likewise, Middle School Co-ordinator Mr. Krishna Joshi and English Faculty member Mr. Shibin Varghese made presentation on counseling and co-curricular activities respectively.
At the end of Workshop and Training, the founder Principal of Rising Academy, Mr. Kumar Bhattarai was all thankful to the DAV School Management for the help and support. Similarly, all the participant trainees shared their experience of the training sessions.
DAV Principal made concluding remarks and said DAV School is determined to keep all their effort for the development and growth of Rising Academy. She also wished this training and workshop develop as a forum to exchange experiences between two Schools.
