Visit to National Academy of Fine Arts Exhibitions, 2023

A total of twenty eight students associated with Uttam Kiran Art Club from Grade V to XII were taken to National Art Exhibitions at National Academy of Fine Art (NAFA), Balmandir, Naxal, Kathmandu on June 9.
The exhibition was open to all the artists of the country. The students enjoyed a lot by seeing the wide range of artworks like paintings, photography, sculptures, print works such as etching, woodcut print, lithograph, handicraft, folk arts etc. in the long list. The students had a wonderful session as they got opportunity to interact with some of the artists who were at NAFA during the visit.
The objective of the visit programme was to inspire students with beautiful art works and develop their horizon of knowledge according to Art HoD Mr. Rajumuni Bajracharya.
National Academy of Fine Arts Exhibitions, 2023 has successfully provided a forum to present creativity and talent to the dedicated artists.
Some of the arts and craft work of the exhibitions were Samantabhadra Bodhisattva by Mikmar Yonjan, When Time Stood Still by Seema Sharma Shah, The Metamorphosis by Prakash Pun Magar, Ma Ko Ho by Namrata Singh and Khadi ma Nepali by Dipendra Pun Magar in the long list.
Overall, the students enjoyed the visit and it was fruitful for every one of them. The students were taken to exhibition by Head of Art Department Mr. Rajumuni Bajracharya and Uttam Kiran Art Club In-charge Mr. Mangal Krishna Prajapati.
