Third Position for DAV in 3rd Community Service Futsal Cup

Senior football team won the third position of 3rd Community Service Futsal Cup organized by Community Service Center, Sanepa, Lalitpur, on June 21.
The Futsal cup was organised to mark the celebration of 'International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking', that falls on June 26. The games were played at Field Futsal, Sanepa.
The students who participated in the futsal cup are Aditya Shakya Ghosal (Grade X)- Captain, Saheb Gayen (Grade X)- Vice-captain, Sandesh Lekhak (Grade IX)- Goalkeeper, Tushar Regmi (Grade X), Mahesh Gurung (Grade IX), Sankalpa Mani Devkota (Grade IX), Faisal Shamim (Grade XI) and Anuj Thapa (Grade IX).
A total of 16 schools participated in the futsal cup. DAV Team was accompanied by football coach, Mr. Bijay Maharjan and sports teacher Ms. Chandra Bhandari.
Similarly, Riya Maharjan from Grade X participated in Nepali essay writing competition and Sumnima Subba from Grade IX participated in drawing competition of Community Service Center, Sanepa, Lalitpur.
The topic for both drawing and essay competition was, 'Drug Addictions and its Harmful Effect'. The results of essay and drawing will be declared amidst a function on 26th June, 2023.
