Screening of Shiva Dhanus Break Context from Ramayan for CBSE Grade IX and X Students

On 29th July, Kabir Sahitya Samaj organised a special video screening in Jetavan Hall for CBSE Grade IX and X students. The short video depicted the significant episode of Shiva Dhanus Break from the Sita Swayamvar context in the Ramayan.
According to the Club In-charge, Ms. Indu Thakur, the students watched the video with keen interest and made sincere efforts to understand the story and its cultural importance.
During the session, the Head of the Hindi Department, Mr. Purushottam Pokharel, shared the importance of epic texts like the Ramayan and Mahabharat. He encouraged the students to explore these literary treasures, stating that such epics evoke the essence of the 'Nava Ras' (nine emotions) in readers and inspire them to revisit the texts repeatedly for deeper insights.
This video presentation was part of the annual activity calendar of the Kabir Sahitya Samaj.
