Sanskrit Story Quiz Contest for Grade VII Students

Janardan Sanskrit Club organized the Sanskrit Story Quiz Contest for selected Grade VII students in Jetavan Hall on 28th January. The competition featured engaging Sanskrit storytelling by Sanskrit HoD, Mr. Purushottam Rijal, who narrated captivating tales to enrich students' understanding of the language. For the quiz contest, the Sanskrit teachers formed a team from each section. According to Mr. Rijal, the primary objective of the event was to motivate and inspire students to explore the rich heritage of Sanskrit language and literature. The competition was facilitated by Middle School Activity In-Charge, Mr. Surchen Shah, and Club In-Charge, Mr. Niranjan Khatiwada, with a total of twenty students participating. The winners were awarded merit certificates in recognition of their achievements. As per the results, the team of Yuvraj Poddar and Aarav Chaudhary from Grade VII 'H' secured first place, while Riwaj Pradhanang and Yusuf Kamal from Grade VII 'E' claimed second place. The third position was awarded to Pratyush Shrestha, Ashmina K.C., and Mansi Thakur from Grade VII 'A'. Aayush Sah, Nirab Shrestha, and Lucas Srinish from Grade VII 'C' finished in fourth place. A total of eight teams competed in the contest, with Grade VII 'I' students serving as the audience.
