Sanskrit Shlok Chanting Competition for Grades IX and X

On 12th June 2025, Janardan Sanskrit Club organised a Sanskrit Shlok Chanting Competition at Jetavan Hall for the students of Grades IX and X. The event was attended by Sanskrit students from these grades, with students of Grade IX 'G' participating as an audience.
The objective of the competition was to deepen students’ appreciation for classical Sanskrit literature while refining their pronunciation and presentation skills. A total of 27 students, grouped into five teams, took part in the event.
The panel of judges included Mr. Purushottam Pokharel and Mr. Niranjan Khatriwada, while Mr Purushottam Rijal served as the moderator.
The team comprising Muskan Jayswal (X 'F'), Anushka Kumari (X 'F'), Swarnim Singh (X 'G'), Aditya Gupta (X 'F'), Aryan Nigam (X 'F'), and Aayush Kumar Singh (X 'G') secured first place in the competition.
The participants beautifully chanted a selection of revered Sanskrit Shloks, including Rudrashtakam, Devyaparadha Kshamapan Stotram, Achyutashtakam, Madhurashtakam, and Ramaraksha Stotram.
