
Sanskrit Shlok Chanting Competition for Grade VIII Students- First Semester

On 11th June 2025, Janardan Sanskrit Club organised a Sanskrit Shlok Chanting Competition in Jetavan Hall. The students chanted Saraswati Stotram, Shiva Pancha Raksha Stotram, Atma Shatkam, Ram Raksha Stotram, Madhurashtakam, Achyutashtakam, Gopi Geetam, Rudrashtakam, Charpat Panjarika, and Devyaparadha Kshamapana Stotram.
Selected students from Grade VIII, representing their respective sections, took part in the event. The competition aimed to promote interest in Sanskrit and improve pronunciation and confidence in recitation.
The competition began at 9:30 AM with Grade VIII 'H' as the audience. The competition was evaluated by Mr. Niranjan Khatriwada and Mr. Sudarshan Adhikari from Sanskrit department.
As per the results, Section VIII 'I' claimed the first position, followed by VIII 'J' in second, VIII 'H' in third, and both VIII'D' and VIII 'G' shared the fourth position. There were 10 teams in the competition. The moderators of the programme were Anya and Seema from VIII 'I'. The winners group will be honoured with certificate of Achievements soon.
The event was co-ordinated by Sanskrit HoD Mr. Purushottam Rijal and Janardan Sanskrit Club In-charge Mr. Niranjan Khatriwada.
