Record-breaking Innings of Prasidsha Jaishi in Inter School Cricket Tournament

Date: Feb 4th, 2025
We are immensely proud and delighted to share that Prasiddha Jaishi, a Grade IX student, has made history in Nepal's Inter-School Cricket Tournament. He achieved the highest runs ever recorded, scoring a remarkable 152 runs off just 49 balls against St. Xavier's Godawari in the 2nd Brouno Memorial Inter-School Cricket Tournament, organised by St. Xavier's Jawalakhel at its premises.
His record-breaking innings featured seven sixes and twenty-one boundaries. On behalf of the DAV School family, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for his future endeavours. In this match, DAV set a challenging target of 222 runs in 12 overs and won by 200 runs.
Previously, in 2017, Ashutosh Ghiraiya, former captain of DAV School's cricket team, achieved a remarkable century against Indian School. Today, we are once again filled with excitement as a DAV School cricketer surpasses this record, marking a historic moment for the team.
