Poem Recitation Competition for Grade IX and X Students, July, 2025

The Kabir Sahitya Samaj organised a Poem Recitation Competition for Grades IX and X on 8th July in Jetavan Hall.
Beyond performance, the competition also focused on developing students’ listening abilities and boosting their confidence in public speaking. Sixteen students participated in the event, each presenting poems with expressive voice modulation and dramatic flair.
As per the results, Neelesh Karn of Grade IX ‘I’ secured the first position. Rupsi Hazrel of Grade IX ‘G’ and Manas Poddar of Grade X ‘H’ were awarded second and third positions respectively. Ruby Kumari and Riddhi Jaiswal, both from Grade X ‘H’, received consolation prizes for their commendable performances.
The competition was judged by Mr. Purushottam Rijal, Head of the Sanskrit Department, and Ms. Indu Thakur, Hindi Teacher. The event was anchored by Chahat Deo, who maintained the rhythm and enthusiasm throughout the programme.
