Mehendi Art Competition Showcases Talent of Grade VIII Beauty and Health Science Students

The Vocational Department of DAV School organised a Mehendi Art Competition for Grade VIII students specializing in Beauty and Health Science on 17th July 2025. The event was held under the guidance of Mr. Ananta Maharjan, Head of the Vocational Department, who stated that the main objective of the programme was to enhance students’ skills and competency in the traditional art of mehendi design.
The competition was aptly conducted on the first day of the Nepali month of Shrawan, a time culturally celebrated through the application of intricate mehendi patterns, particularly on the hands.
A total of forty students enthusiastically took part in the event. The top ten performers will be awarded Certificates of Achievement, while all participants will be recognised with Certificates of Participation.
