The Investiture Ceremony and Club Induction for the Senior School (Grades IX to XII) was held today, 19th May 2025, in the auspicious setting of Buddha Hall.
The solemn occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Shyam Krishna Adhikari, Senior Superintendent of Police, Lalitpur District, who served as the Chief Guest. Also in attendance were our revered Chairperson, Shree Anil Kedia, Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, Vice-principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal, CAO Ms. Vijaya Tater, SSO Mr. Prashant Samal, and Senior School Co-ordinator Mr. Tank Meghji Devji.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by the Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, who underscored the vital role of the Student Prefect Council in fostering leadership and responsibility throughout the academic year.
Following the formal proceedings, the Principal ceremoniously handed over the School and House flags to the newly elected Head of the Student Council and administered the oath of office to the newly appointed members of the Student Prefect Council, as well as to the executive representatives of the Houses and Clubs for the academic session 2025–26.
Badges were conferred upon the newly elected student leaders by the Chief Guest, Chairperson, and all the dignitaries, marking their official induction into office.
Inspiring addresses by the Chief Guest, Chairperson, Principal, and Vice-principal served as key highlights of the event. The speakers collectively encouraged the student leaders to exemplify discipline, integrity, and dedication, urging them to serve as role models for their peers throughout the year.
Meanwhile, the Principal announced most awaited results of Inter house Competitions of the Academic Session 2024/25. As per the results, Mt. Kanchanjanga House with 345 points won the Best House Trophy for the session 2024/25. Mt. Kanchanjanga was followed by Mt. Annapurna House with 290 points.
In addition to the formal investiture, the audience was treated to splendid performances that showcased the school’s cultural vibrancy — including an elegant Bharatnatyam and traditional Nepali dances over poured with nationalistic feelings.
To further motivate and celebrate this important milestone, parents and guardians of the student leaders were invited to witness and support their children's journey of leadership.
