Inter-house Yoga Competition for students of Grades V to VIII (2025)

The Sports Club of DAVSKVB organised an Inter-house Yoga Competition for the students of Grades V to VIII in Yoga Hall on February 13. The event aimed to promote physical fitness and mental well-being through yoga, encourage teamwork and healthy competition.
In Grade V and VI boys' category, Shivam Yadav from Grade VI 'G' secured the first position, followed by Agrim Budhathoki from Grade VI 'F' in second place. The third position was shared by Darshil Mishra from VI 'F' and Bipran Thapa from VI 'J'. In the Grade V and VI girls' category, Navya Mohta from VI 'H' claimed the first position, while Anchal Mohta from V 'H' secured second place. Samata Thapa from Grade V 'C' and Shanaya Pradhan from V 'H' shared the third position.
Similarly, in Grade VII and VIII boys' category, Shatish Gupta from VIII 'I' won first place, followed by Pratyush Koirala from VIII 'B' in second. The third position was shared by Kaivalya Pant from VII 'A' and Devis Thapa from VIII 'C'. In the Grade VII and VIII girls' category, Leona Shrestha from VIII 'C' secured first place, with Raina Shrestha from VII 'B' in second. Hangchhuma Rai and Somiya Shrestha, both from VII 'D', shared the third position.
Overall, Mt. Machhapuchhre House emerged as the winner, followed by Mt. Annapurna House in second place, Mt. Lhotse House in third, and Mt. Gaurishankar House in fourth. The competition was evaluated by Yoga Teachers Ms. Sunita Pachkoti and Mr. Tshring Lama.
