Inter-House Taekwondo Competition Showcases Skill and Sportsmanship

Inter-House Taekwondo Competition for Grade V and VI students was successfully held on February 12 in the Yoga Hall, showcasing the skill, discipline, and sportsmanship of young martial artists.
A total of 33 students participated in the poomsae category. The tournament was organised by Taekwondo teachers Ms. Ranju Tamang and Mr. Hem Raj Shahi.
In the boys' category, Agrim Budhathoki from Grade VI 'F' (Annapurna House) secured first place, followed by Satyartha Prakash Adhikari from Grade VI 'B' (Dhaulagiri House) in second place. The third position was shared by Baibhav Khadka from Grade V 'D' (Dhaulagiri House) and Samyak Pratap from Grade V 'F' (Machhapuchhre House).
In the girls' category, Tanshiqa Shah from Grade VI 'E' (Mt. Lhotse House) claimed first place, while Kavya Thapa from Grade V 'D' (Lhotse House) secured second place.
Participation in the competition was limited to students with prior Taekwondo training.
