Inter-House Cricket Tournament for Grades VII and VIII Boys

The Sports Club organised an exciting Inter-House Cricket Tournament for boys of Grades VII and VIII on 19th and 20th November 2024 at the school’s main ground.
The tournament provided a dynamic platform for over 90 young cricket enthusiasts to showcase their talent and passion for the cricket.
In the thrilling final match, Mt. Kanchanjunga House emerged as champions, securing a 10-run victory. Mt. Gaurishankar House claimed the runner-up position, while Mt. Machhapuchhre House finished in third place.
Highlighting the significance of sports in student development, Sports HoD Mr. Purnendu Ghosh stated, "The inter-house cricket tournament serves not only as an opportunity for students to display their cricketing skills but also as a means to impart valuable life lessons, including resilience, teamwork, and discipline."
The tournament was officiated by Mr. Ghosh, along with Sports Teachers Mr. Dilip Yadav and Mr. Bhuneshwar Ram, who ensured fair play and smooth co-ordination of all matches.
The event was a resounding success, fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie among the participants.
