Grade XII Boot Camp 2025 Concluded Successfully at Nagarkot

Date: Jun 6th, 2025

The Grade XII Boot Camp 2025 concluded successfully after a four-day retreat held amidst the serene hills of Nagarkot on June 4.
The programme brought together Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia, Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, Senior School Co-ordinator Mr Tank Meghji Devji, trainers from India, the dedicated CBSE +2 teaching team, and enthusiastic students for an inspiring and enriching experience.
A major highlight of the camp was the life skills training led by Mr. Issac Martine and Mr Vignesh Palani from VetLife, India. Their engaging sessions on teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving helped students grasp the importance of these essential skills beyond academic learning.
Addressing the students, DAV Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia spoke meaningfully about the purpose of human life and encouraged each student to embark on a journey of self-discovery. He expressed his firm belief that the boot camp would serve as a stepping stone for students to understand who they are and what lies ahead in life.
The entire boot camp was actively overseen by the Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao. In her concluding remarks, she congratulated all participants on the successful completion of the programme, stating, “This boot camp was not just an event; it was a transformational journey—a journey of self-discovery, learning, friendship, and growth. And today, as we celebrate its success, we must acknowledge the people who made it all possible.”
The camp’s daily routine included morning yoga, aerobics, and various workshops focused on goal-setting, time management, and mindfulness—all designed to instill discipline and lifelong values in students.
Special appreciation was extended to Mr. Tank Meghji Devji and his management team for their exceptional leadership in ensuring smooth organisation. Teachers were applauded for their continuous support, and the administrative team was commended for flawless co-ordination.
Heartfelt thanks were also offered to the Ratnagiri Resort, especially owner Mr. Gopal Prasad Nepal and the ever-helpful Arogya, for their warm hospitality, delicious meals, and thoughtful arrangements that made the stay both comfortable and memorable.
Away from digital distractions, the camp allowed students to reconnect with nature and with one another. Nature walks, group games, talent shows, and trekking helped build friendships and develop resilience, independence, and a spirit of community.
In her closing message, the Principal encouraged students, saying, “Now, as you return to your daily life, I want you to carry the essence of this boot camp with you. Bring the discipline, the enthusiasm, the unity, and the mindfulness into your classrooms, your homes, and your communities.”
The four-day boot camp was a resounding success, leaving everyone inspired and hoping for more such transformative experiences in the future.
