Om Mantra and Gayatri Mantra started the Hawan. It was followed by Swasti Baachan, Agnay Daan, Shanti Path and et cetera.

Vice Principal Mr. Ram Chandra Khanal, the main Yajaman, addressing the students emphasised that DAV follows the ideals of Dayananda Saraswati and Eastern philosophy. According to Mr. Khanal, Havan culture was globalised by Dayananda Saraswati. He later established DAV School around the world based on the principle of Eastern values and the technical advancement of the West.
In addition, he also shared that DAV is a memorial School established by Late Shree Shankar Lal Kedia and Late Shreemati Indumati Kedia in memory of their son, Late Shree Sushil Kedia who left this world in his tender age of 17. The rituals like Hawan, Daan, Swasti Path and Geeta Path including all other forms of Yoga and Dhyan are in practice right from the establishment of the school till today.
The programme concluded with Bhajans and each student was presented a certificate wishing good luck in their upcoming Board Examination.
Vice Principal and teachers offered tika and prashad to all the students and blessed them with great success.
The students also enjoyed a good luck party immediately after the Hawan in Pratik Hall.
