Family Jamboree of Grade VI

The most awaited annual cultural programme, Family Jamboree of Grade VI was observed in its sophisticated Buddha Hall in the benign presence of Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia on December 24.
The event commenced with a warm welcome from the Middle School Co-ordinator Mr. Krishna Joshi, who emphasized the significance of family involvement in a child's educational journey.
Family Jamboree was an attempt to celebrate the importance of family values and promote a love for learning.
Addressing on the auspicious occasion, Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia whole-heartily welcomed all the invited parents in the programme and highlighted Family Jamboree as an Annual Cultural Programme of DAV.
The Chairperson presented a current scenario of parenting and linked with the story of Lord Krishna and Yudhisthir. From his own observation, research and experiences, he presented his views and requested parents to think if their love and protection to the children is beyond the limit'. He strongly urged parents to create an environment where students learn to struggle and live.
In the same trait, he believed and shared, 'Parenting and Schooling has such an immense role that can save upcoming three more generations in their morale and values.
He has been motivating both teachers and parents to look at the strength side of the students and not to worry too much as students learn many things with the time. He wished to look forward positive enforcement to the children from all.
Throughout the programme, a variety of engaging activities were observed, blending entertainment with educational values.
Undoubtedly, the major attraction of the programme was the talent show, where students performed their diverse talents and skills to their own parents.
As such, the stage came alive with the musical performances and dance routines to theatrical enactments.
The students performed beautiful English Song, Nepali Dance, Bollywood Dance, Nepali and Hindi Mash-up Song, Bharatnatyam Dance, Artistic Dance, International Dance and Thematic Dance.
In addition to this, some interested parents participated in entertaining family games and added elegance and ecstasy in to the atmosphere. The winner parents were honoured by the Chief Guest Shree Anil Kedia in the presence of CAO Ms. Vijaya Tater.
To further enhance the festive atmosphere of X-Mass, the stage as well as school premises were transformed into a carnival-like setting.
The event also served as a platform for parents to interact with one another, fostering a sense of community within the school.
Over the years, the children have been learning the importance of family value and are growing with holistic learning approach under the mentorship and guidance of our visionary Principal. Entire DAV family was highly grateful to the Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao for carving and mentoring such an alluring environment of learning.
Reflecting on the success of the Family Jamboree, Middle School Teacher Ms. Shreejana Rana expressed gratitude to the parents for their active participation and unwavering support.
The moderator of the programme was Middle School Activity In-charge Mr. Surchen Shah and Middle School Teacher Ms. Pratikshya Nepali.
