Family Jamboree of Grade III

Family Jamboree, a musical extravaganza of Grade III for the academic session 2022/23 was held in Buddha Hall on 12th March, 2023.
The students staged beautiful songs and dances that covered wide range of art and culture from home and abroad.
The programme formally started with welcoming the Chief Guest- Shree Anil Kedia, Guest Parents/Guardians and all the members of School Management Committee.
Hereafter, Vedic rituals of lighting the lamp ceremony were observed with homage to the almighty and the holy souls of the founders.
The moderators of the program were Ms. Amrita Baral Acharya and Ms. Eni Subba. The students performed an English song, 'Sleeping Child, followed by Bharatnatyam, Bollywood Cultural Dance, Free Style Dance Tharu Cultural Dance, the Hindi Song 'Zindagi Key Yehi Reet Hai'," a thematic dance on 'Coming of Spring Season," and Western Dance on Women Empowerment.
Meanwhile, some dance-enthusiast mothers participated in dance competitions and added elegance and ecstasy to the program. Priyanka Lama won the first position in the Mothers' Dance Competition, followed by Sarita Shrestha in the second position and Meena Dhakal in the third position, respectively.
The winners were honoured with the award by Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia in the presence of Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao and Vice-principal Mr. Ram Chandra Khanal.
The chairperson, Shree Anil Kedia, made short remarks and explained that he was immensely delighted with all the stage performances of the students. He congratulated each one of the students as they had replicated cultural and festival seasons like those in Nawaratra and Maghi'.
He narrated a short moral story of two farmers and linked how DAV is educating and nurturing the children to make them physically and emotionally strong so that they can easily overcome any circumstances in the future.
In summary, the Chairperson strongly believed that success is found through hard work, diligence, and discipline, and added that he repeatedly requested the parent community to provide an environment where children can learn to grow themselves.
