External Audit for ISO 9001:2015 Certification Successfully Completed

DAV Sushil Kedia Vishwa Bharati School, the first ISO-certified school in Nepal, successfully completed the second stage of the external audit for ISO 9001:2015 Certification on 27th May 2025.
The audit started on 26th May, 2025 with Opening Meeting at 11 AM at Principal's Office. During the Opening Meeting, there was also an interaction with the senior management of the School. The Principal, Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, presented the School’s Vision, Mission, and the theme for the Academic Session 2025–26. The theme, titled “EACH”, stands for Empowering Individuality through Academic Excellence for Cultural Sensitivity and Holistic Well-being.
The audit was conducted over two days by Head of Quality Management System (QMS) Department Mr. Laxmi Narayan Gupta, in co-ordination with QMS Team Member and HR Manager of DAV School, Mr. Ashish Rai.
The formal closing ceremony for the ISO 9001:2015 Certification process for the Academic Session 2024/25 took place at 5 PM on the final day of the audit.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Gupta noted that the meeting marked the conclusion of the audit process. He provided a concise summary of the audit’s findings, commending the school’s highly experienced faculty for their professionalism and support throughout the process.
Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia reflected on DAV School’s proud history, recalling its distinction as the Nepal's first ISO-certified educational institution two decades ago. He expressed his appreciation for Mr. Gupta, who was instrumental in guiding the DAV School for ISO certification.
Shree Kedia also acknowledged the efforts of Mr. Ashish Rai, whose leadership was pivotal in resuming the ISO process after interruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Chairperson expressed heartfelt joy at seeing many staff actively undergoing with ISO process for more than 20 years with sincere dedication. Emphasizing the importance of the audit process, he remarked that “unless something is documented, it holds no value.”
Similarly, the Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao shared her reflections, offering insightful remarks on the ISO Audit. She made a formal request to Mr. Gupta to consider facilitating a training session on ISO 9001:2015 standards for the entire school’s teaching faculty.
The ceremony was attended by Vice-principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal, CAO Ms. Vijaya Tater, SSO Mr. Prashant Samal, Senior School Co-ordinator Mr Tank Meghji Devji, Co-ordinators from Kindergarten to Middle School, Heads of Departments and Activity In-charge.
