Extempore Competition for Grades VII and VIII

Kabir Sahitya Samaj organised an Extempore Competition on 15th July 2025, featuring 20 enthusiastic participants from Grades VII and VIII (CBSE). The event was smoothly conducted by Navya Mohta and Hitanshi Shah of Grade VII (H), while their classmates served as a supportive and encouraging audience.
A total of ten topics were prepared for each grade, ensuring fair and equal opportunities for all participants. The competition provided an excellent platform for students to develop their oratory skills, boost their confidence, and enhance their ability to think and speak spontaneously, as stated by Club In-charge, Ms. Indu Thakur. The judging panel comprised Mr. Sudarshan Adhikari and Ms. Pratima Adhikari.
In the Grade VII category, Sweta Shrivastava (H) clinched the first position, followed by Harshit Ajmera (I) in second place. The third position was jointly secured by Bhavya Kumari (H), Aryan Kumar Singh (H), and Deshna Sancheti (I), while Paridhi Keyal (H) and Simrit Choudhary (H) received consolation prizes.
In Grade VIII, Gunja Kumari (H) emerged as the winner. The second position was shared by Ishaan Sarraf (H) and Anushka Bhansali (H), while Navya Verma (H) and Aarfa Aslam (H) jointly secured third place. Chirag Jain (G) received the consolation prize.
Mr. Purushottam Pokharel (Head of the Hindi Department) and Mr. Karthki P. (TGT and Senior School Counselor) felicitated the winners with Certificates of Achievement at the end of the programme.
