Exceptional Performance of DAV Girls in MIS Badminton Cup, 2024

Exceptional performances were showcased by the DAV girls at the MIS Badminton Cup 2024, held at Modern Indian School, Chovar, Kathmandu from 19th to 22nd May 2024.
Each of the four girls representing DAV displayed remarkable skills.
The winners from DAV are as follows: Yushna Maharjan from Grade VII 'D' secured the first position in the under 14 age category, Sadikshya Sharma from Grade VIII 'D' attained the second position in the same category, Niva Thapa from Grade VIII 'E' clinched the second position in the Under 16 age category, and Avanie Rai from Grade VIII 'H' secured the third position in the same age category.
Furthermore, four boys from DAV also participated in the tournament, demonstrating their utmost effort. Team guide was Mr. Dipesh Shakya, the Badminton Teacher of DAV School. A total of seven schools participated in the tournament.
In an outstanding display, DAV School emerged victorious overall, claiming the first position trophy. The MIS Cup 2024 encompassed various interschool competitions including cricket, football, badminton, table tennis, and chess.
