Essay and Drawing Competition

Friends of Zoo (FoZ) Club organised an Essay and Drawing Competition on 20th November in Jetavana Hall. The event, exclusively designed for FoZ members from Grades V to VIII, took place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:20 p.m., following lunch. The theme for the competition was "Our Land, Our Future."
Fifteen students participated in the essay competition, while seven showcased their creativity in the drawing competition. The panel of judges included Mr. Pradeep Shrestha, FoZ Club In-charge, and Mr. Raju Muni Bajracharya, Head of the Art Department.
Additionally, Ms. Renuka Bhandari and Ms. Matisara Dahal from Central Zoo, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, delivered an insightful presentation on the competition's theme.
According to Mr. Shrestha, the competition aimed to foster creativity and raise environmental awareness, reflecting the club’s commitment to inspiring young minds about the importance of land conservation. The participants displayed impressive artistic and writing skills, making the event a notable success.
