
English Extempore Competition for Grade VII Students

William Wordsworth English Club organised an English Extempore competition for Grade VII students in the Jetvan Hall on January 23. The event aimed to help students express their thoughts and ideas spontaneously, as explained by Club In-charge Mr. Anjal Tajpuria.
A total of 18 enthusiastic students participated, showcasing their talents and quick-thinking abilities. The topics presented in the competition included "My Dream Country," "The Importance of Moral Support in a Student's Life," "Causes of Stress and Anxiety in Students," and "My Ideal," among others.
The evaluation criteria focused on several key aspects: gesture, confidence and delivery, engagement with the audience, clarity, fluency, and content. Based on these factors, Seema Thakur from Grade VII 'H' secured the first position, followed by Pratikshya Shah from Grade VII 'G' in second place and Aayusha Bastola from Grade VII 'I' in third.
The judges for the event were Mr. Ganesh Paudel and Ms. Gauri Tamang from the Middle School. The programme was moderated by Dipsikha Singh from Grade IX 'C' and Aayushma Lamichhane from Grade IX 'D.' The audience for the event consisted of students from Grade VII 'G.'
