Educational Tour of Grade X in Gorkha and Pokhara

A total of eighty eight interested students of X SEE and CBSE toured to Gorkha and Pokhara from 25th to 28th December, 2022.
The students were taken to Gorkha and Pokhara by Senior School Co-ordinator- Mr. Tank Meghji Devji, Nepali HoD- Mr. Narayan Khatiwada along with five teachers.
According to Mr. Khatiwada, the students left for Gorkha on 25th December at around 8 AM. The students visited Gorkha Museum and Gorkha Durbar and gathered some historical information.
On 26th December, they departed for Pokhara. The students were taken to Mountain Museum, Mahendra Gufa, Chamere Gufa, K.I Singh Bridge and Lakeside respectively on the first day of their Pokhara stay.
On 27th December, the students went to Sarangkot for sunrise view and then visited to Bindabasini Temple, Shanti Stupa, Davis Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Temple and Lakeside respectively.
And finally on 28th December, the students enjoyed boating at Fewa lake to Talbarahi Temple and went Begnas lake.
Educational Tour to Pokhara is a yearly programme of Grade X which is one of the awaited programme to those students who love travelling.
Educational tour during the break brings some joy and refreshment among the students.
On the other side, such tours and visits enable students for effective learning, enhances personal development, deepens social and historical knowledge, develops critical thinking, generates the feeling to respect the culture, enhances perspectives and supports for effective communication.
