
Debate Competition for Grade IX and X Students

Mother Teresa Social Service Club organised a debate competition for Grade IX and X students in Jetavan Hall on 14 June.
The primary objective of the competition was to enhance students' debating skills. The topic for the competition was, "Is Artificial Intelligence (AI) Helpful for Students?" The judges were Ms. Aarti Sharma, Head of the Social Studies Department, and Mr. Debojyoti Chhetri, Club In-charge of the Charles Babbage Computer Club.A total of 12 students participated in the debate.
As per the results, Naitik Ranka (Annapurna House) from Grade X 'H' won the first position. Aayushma Mulmi (Dhaulagiri House) and Nuwan Kulung Rai (Gaurishankar House) from Grade X 'D' won the second position, and Saurya Jha (Lhotse House) from Grade X 'G' won the third position. The moderators for the debate were Anuska Jaiswal from Grade XII 'C' and Madhav Shah from Grade X 'H'. The audience consisted of students from Grade X 'H', IX 'G', and 'H' sections.
