DAVSKVB School Hosts Joyous Family Jamboree for Grade I Families

In a delightful celebration of togetherness and camaraderie, DAVSKVB School organized a Family Jamboree exclusively for Grade I students and their families after regular school on March 11.
The event, held in Buddha Hall in the gracious presence of the Guest of Honour, Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia, Special Guest Mr. Sitaram Agrawal - former Chairperson of Nepal Television, Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao and CAO Ms. Vijaya Tater brought together students, parents, and teachers for a day filled with joy and bonding.
The day kicked off with an opening ceremony featuring a welcome address by the Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, expressing gratitude for the enthusiastic participation and support of Grade I families throughout the year.
The Family Jamboree aimed at creating a warm and inclusive environment, fostering stronger connections between the school and families.
Addressing on the auspicious occasion, the Principal presented 'Five Little Anecdotes' deliberately prepared for Grade I Parents and Teachers on 10th March, 2024. As a part of 'Five Little Anecdotes' the  Principal presented the stories of 'The little Seeds', 'The Magic Bookshelf', The adventure of Curious Caterpillar', 'Life is like a Puzzle' and 'Tree of Support'. All the Faculty Heads, Junior School Teachers and Grade I parents were captivated with the innovative Teaching and Parenting guidelines presented by the Principal for Generation Alfa.
Similarly, the students beautifully staged an English song  'We are Family' followed by Thematic dances and enactments on Social Media, Semi Jazz, Newari cultural dance, freestyle hip-hop dance, Nepali song Umer Sano Vae Pani and Bollywood Holi dance respectively which collected praises and appreciation from the invited parents.
Some interested mothers eagerly participated in dance competition and presented their beautiful dance skills. It was awesome to witness cheering and support of the audience during the competition. The winners were honoured with the prize in the same forum. Likewise, some parents evaluated the performance of the children and they submitted their evaluation sheet to the School authorities.
MCs of the ceremony were Ms. Anusha Rana – CCA In-charge of Junior School and Grade I Teachers, Ms. Anjali Tamatta and Ms. Diksha Pahari.
SSO Mr. Prashant Samal and Junior School Co-ordinator Mr. Andrew Fitz Patrick along with Junior School Teachers were there to extend sincere hospitality and warm welcome to all the invited parents.
To conclude, the event was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on the young Grade I students and their families, fostering a sense of belonging and community spirit.
