DAV U-16 Cricket Team Clinches Champions Trophy in 2nd Jay Nath Kumar Shah Memorial Cricket Tournament, 2025

DAV U-16 Cricket Team emerged victorious in the 2nd Jay Nath Kumar Shah Memorial U-16 Inter School Cricket Tournament 2025, defeating Gateway Academy by 7 wickets in the final yesterday (12th May, 2025).
In the final, Gateway Academy won the toss and opted to bat first, setting a modest target of 73 runs. DAV’s bowlers dominated the innings, with Kamal Shahi taking 4 wickets for just 9 runs in 4 overs. Prasidha Jaishi impressed with both ball and bat, claiming 3 wickets for 13 runs and later scoring 35 runs off 45 balls. Keshav Agrawal also contributed with 2 wickets for 19 runs.
DAV chased down the target in 16.4 overs, with Mayank Kumar Shah adding a quick 16 off 14 balls, securing a comfortable 7-wicket win and the championship title.
