DAV Team Won the First Position in Interschool Painting Competition

A team of DAV Students who participated in interschool painting competition won the first position team award in the capital on August 6.
The Inter-school Painting Competition was organised to mark the celebration of Golden Jubilee of Kendriya Vidyalya, Embassy of India, Lainchaur, Kathmandu.
To make a team winner, Nami Subedi- Grade III won the first position and Subhasna Shrestha- Grade VI won the third position in under 13 girls category. Nami and Subhasna were also individually honoured with the trophy and merit certificate.
All other participants performed their best and were able to win the team award. The participants in painting were Sumer Bajracharya- Grade IV, Remon Shrestha- Grade IV, Aaryata Bajrachraya- Grade III, Jigyasa Agrawal- Grade IX, Meher Raj Subedi- Grade IX, Mohit Sharma- Grade VIII, Sudin Raj Kilambu, Grade VII, Aadarsh Bhattarai- Grade IX, Sudikshna Thapa- Grade IX and Cerolin Rana Magar- Grade VI.
All the participants were honoured with the certificate of participation by the school authority of Kendriya Vidyalaya. The inter-school competition saw a participation of more than 100 students from 8 schools of the capital. The students were accompanied by Mr. Mangal Krishna Prajapati (Art), Mr. Durgesh Thapa (Chess) and Ms. Sunita Panchkoti(Yoga).
DAV School authorities and teachers extended heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all the achievers and participants.
