
DAV Students Shine at International Hindi Day Celebration

A group of 11 talented students from DAV School showcased remarkable performances during the International Hindi Day celebration, organised by the Embassy of India at its premises in Lainchaur, Kathmandu, on 10 January.
The students mesmerised an audience of over 500 attendees with their exceptional Bharatnatyam dance skills, adding a vibrant touch to the celebration of International Hindi Day.
Their efforts received widespread admiration from the spectators. As a token of appreciation, all participating students were awarded certificates of appreciation and trophies by the organisers.
The students who performed included Mona Mishra (VI 'B'), Samyukta Thapa (VI 'B'), Sadira Thapa (VI 'D'), Minoli Karki (VI 'G'), Arshiya Paudel (VI 'G'), Aarohi Devkota (VI 'E'), and Nidhi Das (VI 'I'). Additionally, Sakshi Shah, Chanchal Mohta, Riya Ambastha, and Sakshi Gupta from VIII 'G' were also part of the dance group.
The students were accompanied by the Head of the Hindi Department, Mr. Purushottam Pokharel, along with Ms. Indu Thakur, Ms. Binita Mandal, Ms. Anjana Raut and Ms. Pratikshya Ojha.
The event featured participation from CBSE schools across the Kathmandu Valley, further enhancing its cultural significance.
