Date: Nov 21st, 2024
World Children's Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy on 20th November 2024. To mark the occasion, the school organised a bagless day, offering students a refreshing break from their usual routines and promoting alternative methods of learning.
Students from Kindergarten to Grade XI participated in a variety of engaging activities. The day began with a special assembly led by the teachers, featuring motivational speeches, songs, and performances that highlighted children’s rights, education, and well-being.
Interactive activity sessions were also conducted by the teachers, fostering creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking among the students. All students attended the celebration in their regular school uniforms.
In Kindergarten, a unique assembly included teacher-led rhymes, dances, and fun games, culminating in a delightful cake-cutting activity. Teachers from all wings of the school organised a vibrant morning assembly dedicated to the students, incorporating lively songs, dances, and enactments.
The Junior School (Grades I to IV) students were delighted with a dance fiesta and a movie screening, while classroom celebrations took place across the entire school. Teachers treated students with delicious snacks, thoughtful gifts, and, of course, cakes in each classroom.
Middle school students enjoyed a captivating stage programme featuring short dramas, dances, and songs performed by their teachers, which added to the festive spirit.
Overall, the celebration of World Children's Day was a resounding success. The students relished the chance to learn and enjoy in a dynamic, joyful environment, making it a memorable day for all.
