Celebration of 2569th Buddha Purnima

DAV Sushil Kedia Vishwa Bharati School joyfully celebrated the 2569th Buddha Purnima today (11th May 2025).
All the students came together to show respect and remember the life and teachings of Lord Buddha. The main objective of the programme was to help students to learn values like peace, kindness, and wisdom.
As a part of celebration, all the students, from Kindergarten to Grade XII, took part floral homage and prashad distribution ceremony.
Students in Grades I and II coloured and painted Lord Gautam Buddha's pictures in their classrooms, helping them stay calm and creative. Students in Grades III and IV watched interesting documentaries about Lord Buddha in Pratik Hall.
Students of Grades V and VI started the day with a flower offering on the main ground, then watched a documentary in Buddha Hall. Grades VII and VIII also offered flowers and then listened to a special talk on Buddha’s teachings (called Dharma Deshana) by Bhikshu Nayako Asthabir in Indu Hall.
Senior students from Grades IX to XII joined in the flower offering. A key highlight of the day was Dharmadeshana by Bhikshu Vimalo, Mahasthabir in Buddha Hall.
