Ankit and Shally Crowned with Mr. and Miss DAV Title-2023/24

Ankit Jaiswal from Grade XII "A" and Shally Goyanka from Grade XII "C" were crowned with the Mr. and Miss DAV titles for 2023/24 in the farewell program held at Hotel Marriot, Nagpokhari, Kathmandu on February 9. Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao honoured Ankit and Shally in the presence of special guest Father George P.M S.J- Superior St. Xavier's School Godavari, Lalitpur. Mr. DAV- Ankit Jaiswal was honoured with ‘Nepali Topi’, Khada and several gift hampers. Similarly, Miss DAV- Shally Goyanka was honoured with a crown, khada and several gift hampers. The nominees for Mr. DAV title were, Ankit Jaiswal- Grade XII 'A', Adwait Malla- Grade XII 'B', Shubham Karna- Grade XII 'C', Lakshya Somany- Grade XII 'D' and Jayesh Agrawal- Grade XII 'E'. Similarly, the nominees of Miss DAV title were Elina Jha- Grade XII 'A', Sneha Sharma- Grade XII 'B', Shally Goyanka- Grade XII 'C', Ridhima Bhandari- Grade XII 'D' and Neha Jaiswal- Grade XII 'E'. For the announcement of Mr. and Miss DAV's titles for 2023–2024, the contestants were duly judged on the basis of their introductory round, extempore round, and talent round. The judges were CAO Ms. Vijaya Tater, Kindergarten School Coordinator Ms. Shanti Gurung and Dance HoD Ms. Srijana Shrestha. The results of Mr. and Miss DAV were announced by CAO, Ms. Vijaya Tater. All the participants were honored with khada by the principal prior to Mr. and Miss DAV's announcement.
