112 Students of Grade III and IV made their place in Final Round of Vocaboom Competition

A total of 112 students from Grades III and IV were qualified for the final round of the Vocaboom Competition, organised by the William Wordsworth English Club of Junior School in Pratik Hall on January 25.
Prior to the final round, section-wise competitions were conducted in each classroom, from which seven students from every section were selected to compete in the finals. In total, 56 students each from Grade III and Grade IV secured their place in the final round of the competition.
According to Club In-charge, Ms. Eni Subba, the primary objective of the competition was to enhance students’ vocabulary and help them improve their overall academic performance. The competition witnessed impressive spelling skills, with each finalist performing exceptionally well, making it challenging to determine the winners.
Before the event, students were trained to spell words quickly and accurately. The spelling rounds were conducted by Ms. Anamika Subba, who also served as the judge for the competition.
As per the results in Grade III, Prarambha Aryal (Section G) secured first place, followed by Ayana Shrestha (Section F) in second place and Mikku Bishunke (Section G) in third place. Ahona Dhakal (Section B) received the consolation position.
Similarly in Grade IV, Reene Pradhan (Section H) won first place, Ayaan Jha (Section D) secured second place, and Milan Rauniyar (Section B) stood third, while Prakhya Aryal (Section B) received the consolation position.
All the winners will be honoured with merit certificates in due course. The event was witnessed by Primary School Activity In-charge Ms. Anusha Rana, along with the teachers of Grades III and IV, who encouraged and appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the students.
