Semifinal of Voice of DAV 2025

The semi-final round of Voice of DAV took place on 28th November 2025. Students from Grades V to VIII performed with great confidence and talent. The event aimed to promote musical skills, build confidence, and improve stage presence among young singers.
Twelve contestants sang a variety of songs. They were judged on vocal quality, melody, intonation, stage presence, and overall performance. Judges Mr. Bibek Thapa (Middle School) and Mr. Jitendra Chaudhary (Junior School) scored each participant out of 50 marks.
Based on the results, the following students were selected for the Grand Finale:
Preetishree Shrestha (Grade VIII ‘E’), Dipson Rajbhat (Grade VII ‘E’), Chandrima Ghosh (Grade V ‘H’), Rihana Magrati (Grade VI ‘A’), Hanna Maharjan (Grade VI ‘C’), and Seismic G.C (Grade VI 'A').
The other performers included: Divangi Bhattarai (Grade VII ‘C’), Samragyi Siwakoti (Grade VII ‘D’), Linora Gurung (Grade VII ‘F’), Tezila Maharjan (Grade VIII ‘F’), Aarsh Ghimire (Grade VII ‘B’), and Rahana Pahari (Grade VII ‘J’).
The semi-final ended on an enthusiastic note, with all students showing passion and musical growth. The finalists will now move on to the much-awaited Grand Finale of Voice of DAV.
Speaking on behalf of the Music Department and Natikaji Music Club, senior musician Mr. Raju Singh praised Voice of DAV as a valuable platform for young talents. He appreciated all performances and encouraged students to continue learning. He shared his own experience of learning music from school and reminded everyone that music is a lifelong journey. He also thanked the School Management for offering such meaningful learning opportunities at DAVSKVB.
