X CBSE Explore the Natural and Cultural Wonders of Pokhara Valley

A group of 53 enthusiastic Grade X CBSE students embarked on an educational tour to the scenic Pokhara Valley from 27th to 30th December 2024. This enriching and enjoyable trip was designed to provide unique learning opportunities by immersing students in the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the region. The students were accompanied by Senior School Officer, Mr. Prashant Samal, and five teachers.
According to Ms. Anusha Rana, the Junior School Activity In-Charge, the journey began on 27th December. On the first day, the students travelled to Dhampus, where they enjoyed a campfire, setting the tone for an adventurous experience.
The second day commenced with an early morning trek to the Australian Base Camp, offering the students breathtaking views of a picturesque sunrise. They continued their exploration by visiting the Bindabasini Temple, followed by a serene boating experience on Fewa Lake to reach the Tal Barahi Temple. Later, the group visited Pumdikot for Shiva Darshan and the Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa) before returning to Lakeside in the evening.
Day three was packed with visits to several iconic sites, including Devi's Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, the International Mountain Museum, Mahendra Cave, Chamero (Bat) Cave, and the KI Singh Bridge. The students also enjoyed the vibrant street festival at Lakeside and ended the day with a lively dance party at the hotel.
On the final day, the students had breakfast by the lakeside before departing for Kathmandu, marking the end of a memorable journey.
